Lanny Viegut

(PRESS RELEASE) GREEN BAY WI – Carnivore Meat Company CEO and Owner, Lanny Viegut, will be participating in a roundtable discussion at the 10th Annual Manufacturing First Expo & Conference on October 22, 2020. The conference will be held virtually.

The CEO Roundtable, moderated by Ann Franz, NEWMA executive director, will be available online at 12:00 PM on October 22. The roundtable panel features four Northeast Wisconsin manufacturing CEOs who will be discussing “Building a Great Culture in Times of Crisis.”

“We are very excited to have Lanny as one of the CEOs for the Manufacturing First’s keynote session,” Franz says. “He was chosen by his example of leading during the COVID-19 crisis.”

As owner of Carnivore Meat Company, maker of award-winning raw pet food brands Vital Essentials, Vital Cat and Nature’s Advantage, Viegut led several initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic including a $100,000 donation to Green Bay food pantries and animal shelters along with the service donation of his company’s UV sterilization equipment to sanitize masks for health care workers and first responders throughout Northeast Wisconsin.

“His donations exemplify his leadership in working in a crisis,” commented Franz. “I have also heard firsthand from people that work for him how much they enjoy working at Carnivore Meat Company and especially having Lanny as their leader.”

“Our hardworking and dedicated employees, coupled with our company culture of finding ways to say yes to new opportunities, have helped Carnivore Meat Company thrive despite the difficulties of the COVID-19 crisis,” commented Viegut. “I look forward to participating in the Manufacturing First roundtable to talk with other CEOs and share my experiences building company culture.”

Other CEO’s participating in the Manufacturing First Expo & Conference roundtable include Kim Bassett of Bassett Mechanical, Kurt Voss of Amerilux and Sachin Shivaram of Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry.
