Chow Hound Pet Supplies Opens 11th Location

(PRESS RELEASE) GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Chow Hound Pet Supplies announces the addition of its 11th West Michigan store, located in the Village at Knapp’s Crossing, 2050 East Beltline NE in Grand Rapids. Officially opened on June 30, the store further accelerates Chow Hound’s strategy to provide outstanding neighborhood coverage in the West Michigan area. A grand opening is scheduled for late July and August. 

“We are excited to be a part of the second the phase of development at Knapp’s Crossing and to be a part of the community. Chow Hound Pet Supplies is eager to serve and get to know pet owners in and around the Knapp’s Crossing vicinity,” said Greg Keane, president of Chow Hound Pet Supplies.

This growth gives the local chain the opportunity to offer many new products with advances in pet food nutrition and supplies for pet lovers.

“We want Chow Hound to appeal to people who regard their pets as family members. Our company is committed to supporting local adoption and rescue groups and other local community initiatives to help make it a better place to live,” said Keane.

Chow Hound Pet Supplies opened its first store in 1989. The retailer now has 11 locations in Grand Rapids, Standale, Jenison, Wyoming, Holland, Grand Haven and Portage.
