(PRESS RELEASE) EVANSTON, IL — Together with the World Pet Association (WPA), National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS), and International Boarding & Pet Services Association (IBPSA), FetchFind announces a comprehensive and veterinarian-reviewed COVID-19 course now available for pet industry businesses looking to increase staff education and overall safety during the pandemic.

The course offers self-paced informational modules that build on science-based resources and the latest information about COVID-19. Subscribers will learn how to navigate public spaces, effectively use personal protective equipment, set clear precedents for client interaction and apply industry best practices.

“We’re always working to support our subscribers’ businesses, and it’s even more important now that we’re facing a public health crisis,” said FetchFind CEO Jamie Damato Migdal. “This course gives pet professionals the tools and information they need to move forward with the health and safety of staff, clients, and pets front of mind.”

Offered for a one-time fee and unlimited users per location, the course will be updated on an ongoing basis to reflect the latest findings and recommendations related to COVID-19.

Bonus course content includes guidance for operating during periods of civil unrest, as well as customizable downloads for pet service businesses to share with their staff and clients.

Members of WPA, NAPPS, and IBPSA can enroll in the course at a discounted rate. Complete course details and pricing can be found here. For more information about FetchFind and its state-of-the-art staff training platform, contact Jamie Damato Migdal at jamie@fetchfind.com or 312-394-9957.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
