Man Steals Python from Pet Store by Putting It Down His Pants

Did he actually think this was a good idea?

A man stole a python from A to Z Pets in Portland, OR, by putting the snake down his pants, UPI reports.

The incident was captured by a security camera, store owner Richard Bjugan said. The snake was about 2 feet long and was valued at $200.

Police are still trying to determine who the culprit was based on the security footage.

Fortunately, the snake has been returned, according to UPI.

Another man brought the snake to the store and said he’d bought it from an individual and then realized, based on news reports of the crime, that it was stolen.

The snake is in good shape, Bjugan said.
