(PRESS RELEASE) BURLINGTON, VT — HempVet, a leading hemp-derived cannabinoid pet product company, announces the launch of PuraVet, a companion brand offering advanced hemp-free food and nutrition remedies, supplements and topical remedies containing proprietary, patented ingredients for the horse, dog and cat categories.

PuraVet’s first products are exclusively designed for the equine category and provide natural powder-based remedies to reduce anxiety, hip & joint inflammation, and digestive disorders. The expansion also includes a line of equine topical gel remedies which are designed to relieve muscle & joint pain and inflammation and a liniment to treat skin rashes, wounds and irritations.

Two Great Brands — One Common Purpose. The core value proposition of crafting safe, highly-efficacious, NASC-certified products from nature’s healthiest ingredients remains unchanged with a team of leading pet health experts committed to developing state-of the-art solutions to challenging pet health problems.

“We are excited to launch the PuraVet brand to bring our highly-effective remedies to even more animals,” said HempVet CEO Will Billings. “HempVet, and now PuraVet, were founded on the idea that condition-specific treatments developed with multiple active ingredients can help animals live longer, healthier lives. Our products are formulated by a board-certified animal nutritionist, Dr. Gary Pusillo, who has managed the nutrition programs for 17 Kentucky Derby winners and are certified by the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC). All formulations are rooted in science and designed to be natural, more efficacious alternatives to pharmaceutical medicines.”
