Jones Naturals Names Marketing Manager

She brings 11 years of experience in marketing and communications.

(PRESS RELEASE) ROCKFORD, IL – Marketing professional Heather Huftalin has been appointed marketing manager for Jones Naturals LLC, manufacturer of natural, American-made dog treats and chews. Huftalin brings 11 years of experience in marketing and communications, including five years in a similar role with a global heat-treating equipment manufacturer.

“Heather’s knowledge of effective marketing and communications strategies for a variety of audiences will assist Jones as we continue to strengthen our brand presence in both B2B and B2C markets,” said Joe Wallington, president and CEO of Jones Naturals. “We are confident that Heather will make a valuable impact on our growth and brand development.”

At Jones Naturals, Huftalin will be responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies, maintaining web presence and managing social media accounts for the company’s portfolio of dog treat and chew brands, which includes flagship brand Jones Natural Chews, The Country Butcher and Grass Valley Farm.

“I’m excited to join the Jones Naturals team and apply my marketing experience to the pet treat industry,” Huftalin said. “There’s a positive energy and enthusiasm that can be felt here and it’s great to be part of an innovative, growing company.”

Prior to joining Jones Naturals, Huftalin served as marketing manager and global marketing coordinator for a heat-treating equipment manufacturer. In that role, she was responsible for communicating to internal and external audiences, maintaining the company’s websites and social media platforms, and executing event strategies for global trade shows and customer seminars. Prior to that, Huftalin also spent six years in various leadership roles with a nationwide test preparation company identifying sales opportunities, building brand awareness and directing a successful educational center.


Huftalin has a Master of Science from Illinois State University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Illinois Wesleyan University.
