(PRESS RELEASE) ACTON, ON — PawzNDogz, an award-winning premium snuffle mat business, donated 160 Boundless Love mats, valued at $10,078, to The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth to support holiday adoptions in December. In August, the business donated 200 mats to the Humane Society for the first time, bringing the total value of donated items to $22,676 for 2025. It was the first year that PawzNDogz donated snuffle mats to the community.
The mats, which serve as puzzle toys and slow feeders, were divided between two shelter locations in Kitchener-Waterloo and Stratford-Perth. They will be gifted as part of adoption kits provided to new dog owners.
“As the owner of two rescue dogs, supporting vulnerable animals in the community is very important to me,” says Smriti Pratishruti, founder and CEO of PawzNDogz. “Snuffle mats provide enrichment, and reduce stress and anxiety for dogs. Our hope is that during the busy holiday adoption season and beyond, the mats will make the transition to their new homes easier.”
“We are thrilled that PawzNDogz has so generously donated these high-quality snuffle mats to The Humane Society,” says Victor Dinh, Manager, Events and Partnerships at The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth. “Adding snuffle mats to our adoption kits will make a meaningful difference in the lives of newly adopted dogs. By giving adopters an easy way to provide enrichment and support their dog’s mental well-being from day one, we’re setting pets up for success as they begin their journey in their new families.”
