Pet Naturals Introduces Heartibles Treats for Dogs

The Heartibles chew treats contain taurine and omega-3 fatty acids to support heart health for dogs of all ages and sizes.

(PRESS RELEASE) WILLISTON, VT – Pet Naturals is innovating again with the debut of Heartibles Heart Healthy Dog Treats to keep pups young at heart.

Heartibles are one of the first heart health specific products in the treats category. The SPINS August 2020 Pet Trends Report and other surveys have shown increased heart health concerns among dog owners, and Pet Naturals saw an opportunity to provide a functional treat solution for pet parents.

“We saw that heart health was unaddressed in the treats market and developed Heartibles as a natural solution to meet consumer needs,” said Derek Archambault, vice president for Marketing at FoodScience Corporation. “As concern about pets’ overall diet and its effect on heart health continues to grow, Pet Naturals is positioned to provide treats that put nutritional ingredients first.”

The SPINS Pet Trends Report found that 80% of dog and cat owners strongly or somewhat agree that what their pet eats impacts their health. And, 60% of dog and cat owners are very or somewhat concerned about their pet’s nutrition.

The bite size Heartibles chew treats contain taurine and omega-3 fatty acids to support everyday heart health for dogs of all ages and sizes. Heartibles come in Salmon, Chicken, Cheese, and Peanut Butter flavors, and are made without chickpeas, lentils, or other legumes.

Heartibles are a great nutritional treat for dogs on grain-free, raw, or other specialty diets, and they are crafted with love in Vermont. The treats are part of Pet Naturals’ effort to make treating a joyful and healthy experience for pets and pet parents.
