Pet Sustainability Coalition Launches ‘Impact Unleashed’ Event

The event offers education and networking.

(Press Release) BOULDER, CO — The Pet Sustainability Coalition, dedicated to the acceleration of environmental and social sustainability in the pet industry, is kicking off its inaugural Impact Unleashed event on May 4 and 5 at the Alliance Center in Denver, CO. The event will bring together great minds in sustainability, both inside and outside the pet industry, to explore the opportunities, challenges and benefits of building sustainable businesses.

Impact Unleashed is a two-day event created to generate a new wave of innovation within the pet industry that leads to a future where businesses, workers, global communities, natural resources and all industry stakeholders prosper. This event will showcase influential leaders and game changers who will share their purpose, best practices, successes and challenges. The goal is to provide a platform for business leaders of brands, manufacturers, suppliers and retailers to get the education, tools and resources they need to drive profitability through environmental and social impact.

The event will feature B the Change Media and Conscious Company Media as media partners and a lineup of speakers including Eco-Products, W.S. Badger Co., Savory Institute, World Wildlife Fund, B-Corp and Epic Provisions.

“Over 75 percent of the industry reports that sustainability is a rising opportunity to connect more deeply with consumers while also an increasing expectation from retailers,” said Caitlyn Bolton Dudas, executive director of PSC. “Companies who learn to apply strategic sustainable business practices now will experience greater profitability, higher employee retention, attraction of top talent, high levels of innovation, and increased business resiliency. Our incredible lineup of speakers will help attendees align their business to a changing market while also driving environmental and social solutions.”

Attendance for the event will be kept to 40-50 executive-level decision makers and key implementation managers from the pet industry to ensure valuable interaction and collaboration. With multiple keynote speakers, TED Talk-inspired presentations and multiple breakout sessions, attendees will gain inspiration, insight and actionable ideas from the panel of expert leaders and each other.
