(PRESS RELEASE) Pure And Natural Pet, an international industry leader in organic pet products, announces the promotion of Brian Taus to the position of president. Pure and Natural Pet offers USDA Certified Organic and natural pet wellness and grooming products.
Taus, who previously served as senior vice president of sales, has over 35 years of CPG experience including various leadership roles at Starbucks, Ocean Spray, C&W Frozen Foods, Dean Foods, Kraft General Foods, and the National Dairy Products Corporation. “Brian has been instrumental in expanding the brand into 12 countries and has developed critical retail and distribution partners,” said Beth Sommers, CEO of Pure and Natural Pet. “Brian has helped craft our company’s strategic plan and this appointment demonstrates our commitment to growth and new business opportunities.”
In his role as president of Pure and Natural Pet, Brian will lead the company’s team and support their future plans for expansion and growth. He will continue to focus on product innovation and development incorporating sustainable practices while exploring new geographic markets and expanded marketing channels.
An avid pet lover his entire life, Taus grew up with his Husky on the North Shore of Boston and now enjoys walking his Yellow Lab, Tucker, on the beaches of Southern California with his wife and two teenage daughters. “My passion for pets and my desire to make a positive impact on the pet industry is a milestone achievement in my career.” Taus said. “I look forward to the opportunity to lead and grow the Pure and Natural Pet Brand while preserving our tradition of continuously developing new and innovative pet products catering to the growing demand for quality and organic pet items.”
Founded in 2015 by Beth Sommers, she will continue her role as founder and CEO of the company. “I look forward to working with Brian on our shared passion for healthy pets, their families, and the planet,” noted Sommers.
