Saltzman began his career in the retail luggage sector as a buyer and rose through the ranks to become Director of E-Commerce. Along the way, he developed a strong reputation for leveraging emerging technologies, optimizing customer experience, and scaling digital platforms. His path with Pure and Natural Pet began organically—by assisting with the redesign of the company’s website. Captivated by the brand’s mission and the warmth of the pet care community, Saltzman made the leap from travel retail to pet wellness, aligning his professional strengths with his personal passion.

“Lyle is a strategic thinker and a tech-forward leader,” says Pure and Natural Pet President Brian Taus. “His understanding of e-commerce ecosystems, consumer behavior, and infrastructure design will be instrumental in expanding our digital reach and supporting our continued growth.”

In his new role, Saltzman will oversee the company’s digital transformation efforts, including website optimization, data analytics, customer experience, and B2B platform development. He will also lead initiatives to enhance the brand’s DTC and wholesale e-commerce capabilities as Pure and Natural Pet expands into new markets. By harnessing the power of digital data, PNP aims to not only reach new customers but to connect more deeply with those who use and love their products.

A lifelong animal lover, Saltzman is particularly fond of cats and shares his home with two rescue felines, Clover and Sydney. His personal connection to pet wellness complements his professional acumen, making him a natural fit for this leadership position.
