Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique Releases Disney Pet Costumes

(PRESS RELEASE) MELVILLE, NY – Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique, under license with Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media, announces the launch of officially licensed pet costumes inspired by classic Disney characters.  

Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique has started development on the following products for 2018, with plans for more styles in 2019 and beyond: “Mickey and Friends” pet costumes and accessories (including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy), “Disney Princess” pet costumes with wigs (including Cinderella, Ariel, Belle and Snow White), “Winnie the Pooh” pet costumes and accessories (including Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore), Pixar’s Toy Story pet costume and accessories (including Woody and Buzz Lightyear), and pet costumes from the film Disney Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas (including Jack Skellington, Zero and “Scary Teddy”) 

Designed for a wide range of pets, the Disney and Pixar pet costume collection will have costumes and accessories available in sizes XS- XXXL.

“We are absolutely thrilled to collaborate with Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media to create pet costumes of everyone’s favorite classic characters, and we are excited to bring them all to life for the first time ever,” said Erin Breig, director of Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique. “In addition to Star Wars and Marvel brands, these classic Disney and Pixar properties are the perfect additions to round out Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique’s collection of fun products.”

She also notes, “Our customers want items that are stylish, cute, shareable, and most importantly comfortable, and our entire team is pet-obsessed — so each and every one of our products are made with the love of our pets in mind.” 

The Disney and Pixar pet costume collection will be available nationwide in summer of 2018. It officially launched at Global Pet Expo in Orlando, March 2018.
