(PRESS RELEASE) Generosity reached new heights as Tall Tails’ “Buy a Blanket, Give a Blanket” drive culminated in a landmark donation of 150 cozy blankets to support senior pets in need at Vintage Pet Rescue, a Rhode Island-based rescue and hospice home for senior dogs.

“Our mission is to offer senior pets a loving and dignified retirement,” said Kristen Peralta, executive director of Vintage Pet Rescue. “We are deeply grateful to Tall Tails and the Rumford Pet community for this generous initiative. It will make a significant impact on the lives of our animals and help us provide them with the love and care they deserve.”

George Barton, director of marketing for 3T Brands, expressed his enthusiasm for this heartfelt endeavor, stating, “At Tall Tails, we have always been driven by the desire to enhance the lives of our beloved four-legged friends. With the ‘Buy a Blanket, Give a Blanket’ drive, we’re not only providing pet owners with premium comfort, but we’re also spreading warmth to pets less fortunate. We believe that every pet deserves a little extra comfort, especially during the holiday season.”

These Tall Tails blankets are more than fabric; they’re a comfort source for senior pets at Vintage Pet Rescue. The dogs’ joyous response is truly uplifting. Expressing gratitude, they’ve woven delightful moments, snuggling into the blankets. These interactions testify to initiatives prioritizing shelter animal welfare. Your support brings not just warmth but a haven of solace to these deserving companions at Vintage Pet Rescue.

In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
