Target (Minneapolis) has unveiled its planned store openings for this fall: seven new stores in seven states. And all but one of those units will be larger-format stores with at least 125,000 square feet of space.
“… With every grand opening, we’re getting closer to more consumers in support of our stores-as-hubs model, in which our stores serve as both shopping destinations and fulfillment hubs to deliver what guests need, when and where they need it,” the retailer said in a news release. “Fun fact: Our stores fulfill 95% of our digital orders, including same-day delivery service with Target Circle 360, which currently reaches 80% of the U.S. population.”
Here’s where the new Targets are set to open next month:
- Arizona: Queen Creek
- California: Fresno
- Florida: Wesley Chapel Grove
- Nebraska: Grand Island
- South Carolina: Indian Land
- Texas: Stafford
- Virginia: Sterling
The new stores are also latest representatives of the retailer’s plans to open more than 300 new stores during the coming decade. The chain currently consists of just under 2000 stores, all in the U.S.
