V-Dog Launches Second Annual #vegandog Month Campaign

(PRESS RELEASE) SAN FRANCISCO, CA – US-based vegan dog food company, V-dog, is launching their second annual #vegandog month campaign in July 2018 to highlight the vitality and compassion of plant-based diets for dogs on social media.

“#VeganDog month is our fun way of getting more conversations going on social media and showing the world how vegan dogs thrive,” said Lindsay Rubin, v-dog’s Director of Operations.

To celebrate #vegandog month, v-dog will be encouraging social media followers and influencers to share their stories about why their dog is vegan using the hashtag #vegandog. V-dog also has a special website page set up (http://bit.ly/vegan-dog-mth) and will be providing extra informational newsletters and social media posts throughout the entire month. Featured information will include how to switch your dog to a vegan diet, what veterinarians think about this diet, studies on the plant-based dog diet, and stories from real vegan dogs.

“We’re excited to connect with more and more pet parents looking for information on a nutritious plant-based diet for their dogs,” said Rubin.

By using the hash tag #vegandog, v-dog’s social media followers can share photos of their dogs eating a healthy vegan diet, connecting vegans and vegan dogs throughout the world. The hash tag “#vegandog” currently has over 112,000 tags filled with v-dog customers.  V-dog also has a group of influencers on board and plans to share their “why my dog is vegan” stories on Instagram.

“Our customers are so passionate about their dogs’ health and about helping animals, and we love hearing their individual stories,” said Rubin.

Throughout the month, v-dog will also be hosting a sweepstakes where those interested can enter to win a year’s worth of vegan kibble (http://bit.ly/win_kibble).
