(PRESS RELEASE) MONROE, WA – Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company announces that Ian Anderson has joined the company as chief financial officer, effective immediately. The value-added dog food and treat industry is gaining strong momentum as pet parents increasingly seek out options that feature limited, recognizable and sustainably-sourced ingredients. Wet Noses Natural Dog Treat Company exemplifies this macro-trend, offering exclusively all-natural, human-grade food and treats with high-quality, non-GMO ingredients, made exclusively in a Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Level III Facility.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ian to the Wet Noses team; his expertise will be critical as we accelerate our business operations in the coming years,” said Johnni Rodgers, Wet Noses CEO. “Ian will be a key partner in taking Wet Noses to the next level in 2021 and beyond.”

The mission of Wet Noses is simple: feed nutritious, clean, human-grade food to as many dogs as possible. Nearly 23 years ago, Jasmine “Jazz” Galligan, began baking human grade dog treats in her 700-square-foot garage when she couldn’t find a healthy treat on the market for her personal dogs. From there, Wet Noses was born, eventually growing into an 87,000 square foot production facility encompassing six production processes and a community of over 100 dog-loving employees. In the past two decades, Wet Noses has never strayed from its roots––featuring only 100% human grade, non-GMO products without corn, wheat, soy, preservatives or artificial ingredients.

“I am incredibly excited and grateful to join the Wet Noses team,” said Anderson. “As pet owners become increasingly conscious of the quality and nutritional profile of what their animals consume, our brand strength and ability to innovate position us favorably to achieve our long-term growth ambitions.”

Anderson will oversee financial operations and partner closely with the management team and board of directors in establishing, measuring and delivering on the company’s strategic objectives. He brings 16 years of proven leadership and management experience across several industries, as well as across both large, multi-national organizations and small, privately-held businesses. A CPA who began his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young, LLP, Ian’s expertise includes strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, acquisitions, capital planning and financial management. He recently served as CFO of two high-growth commercial real estate services companies and a national moving and storage provider. In addition, he held a senior finance leadership role at Amazon supporting the build out of the company’s middle and last mile delivery operations.
