Dear SuperZoo Community,

When we reflect upon what makes SuperZoo such an extraordinary experience it is more than the business deals that are done. It is about the people. This is the annual event where new relationships are forged, old relationships are celebrated and we as an industry unite standing alongside our peers.

It’s become obvious to us that moving forward with SuperZoo 2020 in a format that abides by health and safety regulations will compromise too many components for us to deliver the experience — personal and professional — that makes this show the biggest and the best. Therefore, we have made the decision to postpone SuperZoo 2020. This is not a decision that was made lightly.

The rescheduled date has been confirmed for Tuesday, August 17 – Thursday, 19, 2021 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Throughout this process the MGM Resort/Mandalay Bay team has been dedicated to offering every possible solution in order to host a fun, safe and healthy event for our attendees. We are excited to return next year and continue our long-standing relationship.

As you can imagine there are numerous details for our teams to reconcile. We will be sending out detailed information with answers to questions around exhibitor policies and others logistics affected by this postponement. We appreciate your patience in the interim.

P.S. One thing we do know is that if your hotel reservation/s were booked through the official housing office, Connections Housing, your reservation/s will be cancelled for your convenience at no charge or penalty to you, and you will receive a cancellation acknowledgement directly from Connections Housing. No other follow up will be necessary. (Note all reservations will be cancelled, therefore if you want to make other arrangements you will have to make a direct reservation)

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
