Some of America’s best places to work find that offering pet-oriented benefits is a great way to make employees more productive and happier, Inc. reports.

The magazine recently released its annual roster of the country’s Best Workplaces. Approximately 9 percent of those employers offer perks designed to appeal to pet owners.

Examples of such perks include animal-friendly workspaces, pet insurance and pet-product discounts.

One of the easier benefits to set up is pet insurance. The Society for Human Resource Management found that 9 percent of firms offered that perk in 2016.
