(PRESS RELEASE) POWAY, CA – My Perfect Pet introduces Beth Gibbs as its new Mid-Atlantic and Northeast territory manager. In her new position, Gibbs will be responsible for expanding sales for the California based company. Working closely with the Pet Food Experts management team, she will focus on educating retailers and consumers about the benefits of My Perfect Pet’s lightly cooked diets for dogs and cats.

Gibbs brings over 18 years of sales experience to her new role. Most recently, she worked as Northeast territory manager for Sojos, familiarizing herself with raw pet food. This made her the perfect candidate for My Perfect Pet because its lightly cooked blends contain all the benefits of raw food for pet owners who want the safety and convenience of cooked.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Beth into the My Perfect Pet family,” says Karen Neola, founder and pack lead of My Perfect Pet. “She is well-versed in the extensive facets of pet nutrition, and her enthusiasm for educating pet parents about lightly cooked pet food diets knows no bounds.” Gibbs presently resides in Maryland with her chief taste testers, Snoop and Fanny.

My Perfect Pet offers ten delicious frozen blends for dogs and three for cats. They have options for pets in all life stages, whether they’re young or young at heart. Additionally, My Perfect Pet offers specialty diets for pets with health issues, such as low phosphorus and low glycemic recipes. In additional to Pet Food Experts, My Perfect Pet diets are also distributed by Rio Grande Pet Food & Supply, Sunburst Pet Supplies, Supreme Pet Supplies, United Pacific Pet and Veterinary Services, Inc (VSI). NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
