(PRESS RELEASE) ANAHEIM, CA — After four years as a leading pet goods manufacturer and e-commerce retailer, iHeartDogs.com has just launched PACK&DEN, a new premium home collection of exceptional dog beds and throws.

The PACK&DEN collection of all faux, vegan products are meticulously crafted to provide luxurious comfort to both dogs and dog lovers, doubling as high-quality decor for the household. The new line includes three Big Doggo Faux Fur Throws with odor control and a calming pack in Grey Wolf, Tawny Fox, and Ivory Llama in both medium and large sizes and four Little Pup Faux Fur Throws with odor control and a calming pack in Grey Wolf, Tawny Fox, Ivory llama, and Tan Llama in both small and extra small sizes. In addition, customers can also treat their smaller canines with Little Pup Faux Fur Memory Foam Beds also available in Tawny Fox and Grey Wolf in small.

“Most dogs love hanging out on furniture but we’ve noticed our customers often complaining about the doggy smell permeating the couch,” says iHeartDogs Co-Founder and CEO Justin Palmer. “We wanted to create products that were comfortable for our pets but luxurious enough to add into your home decor.”

Both throws and beds include sturdy faux suede backing and special easy to open velcro pockets with an odor eliminating activated charcoal bag and an aromatherapy felt heart insert to use with calming essential oils. Both beds and throws are easy to clean and machine washable. The new PACK&DEN collection will continue to follow iHeartDogs impact driven business model and will provide one warm fleece blanket to a shelter dog in need with each purchase.

“Dogs spend 80 percent of their lives lying down and whether they’re in shelters or have found their forever homes, they deserve to be comfortable,” says Palmer. “Through each purchase, our customers will be providing blankets that will help keep pets warm in an environment that’s not always temperature controlled. Often times a blanket is the closest thing they have to a proper bed and it’s usually the only possession a dog has while waiting for their forever home.”

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
