Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 213, Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) No. 213, and United Nations European Regional Standard (ECE) R44 are analogous safety standards. Sleepypod carriers and safety harnesses include Pet Passenger Restraint System (PPRS) components designed by Sleepypod to secure a pet in a vehicle and restrict harmful movement during a sudden vehicle stop or frontal collision.
