The Forecast Calls for Nuts

I was showing a potential client the kennel, and she wanted to tour the 25 acres of dog walking paths with her fuzzy white dog. It was an extremely muddy spring day in northeast Ohio, and I encouraged her to come back when things were drier, on a nicer day, so they both wouldn’t get muddy. She looked at me in surprise, and said she had no mud in her neighborhood, that she couldn’t believe that our ground was soft — as if she didn’t believe me. She then began to question me as to which exact day in the future the mud would be gone … as if I could foresee the future and predict weather. I told her that I would call her when I was able to do that … Stacy Totten, Meadow Run, Richfield, OH
