(PRESS RELEASE) True Leaf Brands, a leading global cannabis and hemp wellness brand for pets, will launch its veterinarian-formulated, cannabidiol (CBD) chews for dogs at SuperZoo. The company’s debut CBD products in the U.S. will display the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) Quality Seal — one of the highest-level certifications in the pet industry.

The new CBD soft chews use non-GMO, pesticide-free, broad-spectrum hemp leaf with naturally occurring CBD to help support calming and hip and joint function in dogs.

These formulas will complement True Leaf’s hemp-seed-based pet supplement line which uses a combination of plant-based active ingredients to target specific pet health challenges and are sold in 3,500 stores worldwide.

The new CBD formulations were developed by a team of pet industry veterans with 200-plus years of collective expertise making natural products for pets, including prominent integrative veterinarians of the True Leaf Veterinary Advisory Board, advocates for the safe therapeutic use of cannabis for pets.

True Leaf’s CBD product line will begin rolling out on Sept. 30 to pet retail stores in several U.S. jurisdictions.
