(PRESS RELEASE) After the full-scale Russian invasion, the concept of self-identity and return to our roots, language, and traditions resonate even more with every Ukrainian. Currently, clothes with ethnic prints and embroidery are gaining in popularity because this is how people try to emphasize their national identity and the richness of their cultural heritage. Thus, according to Google Ukraine research, an embroidered shirt (vyshyvanka) became the most popular commercial request in the “Clothes” category last summer.
Following the trend, on the eve of World Vyshyvanka Day, Boddy Boom designers created an ethnic collection of comfortable T-shirts with embroidered print and linen embroidered shirts. So that every owner of pugs, beagles, spaniels, and other small breeds of dogs can create a patriotic image for their four-legged friend in trendy colors this year: blue, yellow, and green.
“Today, many world leaders, Hollywood stars, prominent athletes, and musicians who support Ukraine wear Ukrainian embroidery. An embroidered shirt symbolizes the unity of the Ukrainian nation and the connection of generations, a symbol of family love and loyalty. Pets are an integral part of our families, and pet parents try to be in the same style with their cats and dogs. That’s why, seeing a growing demand on the market, we created an ethnic collection in a patriotic style for pets as well,” Polina Kosharna, co-owner and head of the supervisory board of the Suziria Group family company, which includes the Boddy Boom brand, commented.
Furthermore, the brand is already working on a future ethnic collection of clothes in partnership with a well-known Ukrainian embroidered shirt brand to create a paired look for pets and their parents. The release of the expanded collection is planned for the summer of 2023.
