(Press Release) PORTLAND, OR – Women in the Pet Industry Network (WIPIN), a leading organization focused on women entrepreneurs and leaders in the pet industry, announces the five category winners of Pet Industry Woman of the Year.

These women were selected as the top women in their categories. The Pet Industry Woman of The Year Award has five categories: Advocate, Corporate, Entrepreneur, Rising Star and Solopreneur. From these five categories, 25 finalists were chosen. A winner in each category was announced at the Women In The Pet Industry conference in Portland, OR, on Sept. 26.

Marci Koski with Feline Behavior Solutions is the winner in the Advocate Category for the Pet Industry Woman of the Year Awards.

Gila Kurtz, the Corporate winner, became the overall winner and now holds the title of Pet Industry Woman of the Year 2017.

The company creates original designs for a broad array of products including gifts, apparel, accessories and home decor specifically for the human at the other end of the leash. Known for its clever use of humor and poignant sentiments, the Dog is Good brand is a favorite among dog lovers worldwide and.
