Australian Pet Care Brand Enters U.S. Market

It plans to build on Canadian success.

CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA — Australian brand Snappy Tom has launched a new website designed to bring its pet food and pet care items to U.S. cat owners.

The brand entered Canada a few years ago and now is “ready to challenge the market in the United States,” according to a press release.

“Pet owners are looking for companies that are formulated to address the problems with pet food today,” said Jack Tan, president of the company. “They’re looking for natural products with clean labels and whole food ingredients. At Snappy Tom, that’s always been part of the equation, and we’re excited to launch a brand-new formula for U.S. cat owners.”

Snappy Tom launched in 1965 in Australia.

“With memorable television commercials [that] many Aussies can recite from decades ago, the company has worked to provide real nutrition and better options for Australian cat owners for decades,” the press release states.
