(PRESS RELEASE) Cherrybrook has updated the branding of its retail stores to better reflect its emphasis on nutrition and wellness. Cherrybrook Premium Pet Supplies, a New Jersey-based pet supply retailer, recently begun a rebranding of their retail stores. The rebranding of the stores, now known as CB Pet Market, is a direct response to the company’s increased focus on holistic wellness and nutrition for pets.

Cherrybrook was founded over 50 years ago to serve professional groomers, dog show exhibitors, and breeders. With the continued expansion of their retail brick and mortar business, the company has put an emphasis on serving the pet parent community by offering holistic, raw/alternative nutritional options and educational programs. CB Pet Market marks the separation between the eCommerce and retail segments – allowing the retail stores to take on their own brand identity that better reflects the store offerings and philosophies.

The updated brand entails a new name, logo, and retail website. The announcement came with the opening of a new retail location in Clinton, NJ, now open to the public.

CB Pet Market owner Claudia Loomis said “CB Pet Market is honored to have been born out of the Cherrybrook tradition, making our new brand uniquely qualified to deliver a sophisticated level of knowledge and experience to pet parents. Onward and upward as both brands continue to grow and enthusiastically deliver exceptional products and service to our distinctly different and equally passionate customers.”

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
