Feeders Pet Supply is acquiring Soldan’s Pet Supplies and Ashland Pet Store.

The merger “elevates Feeders Pet Supply to 52 locations and the overall company to a total 68 locations with their 16 Chow Hound Pet Supplies locations,” Feeders CEO Brannon Dixon wrote in a LinkedIn post. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Feeders is thrilled to welcome Soldan’s Pet Supplies and Ashland Pet Store to the family,” Dixon said. “This acquisition aligns with our commitment to providing top-notch products and services to pet parents in Michigan and Ohio. It allows us to extend our reach and impact in the industry,” he said. “We look forward to blending the companies and building upon the success and elevating the shopping experience with a wider array of products, competitive pricing, and improved accessibility through both physical stores and online platforms.”

Soldan’s is a Michigan-based company that operates eight stores and has one under construction. Ashland Pet Store is an independent store in Ashland, OH.

Feeders was acquired by Houchens Industries earlier this year.
