(PRESS RELEASE) MEQUON, WI – Fromm Family Foods is set to release its very first foray into the cat treat market with the introduction of PurrSnackitty Soft & Savory Treats for cats. The collection of gently cooked treats will be available online at neighborhood pet stores and online this fall.
Fromm’s PurrSnackitty Cat Treats will be available in three tender treat varieties: Liver Sackitties, Chicken Snackitties and Salmon Snackitties. The extruded treats, gently cooked at a lower temperature to remain soft and chewy, feature three times more water content than a standard dry treat, a benefit for cats who generally consume less water than their canine counterparts.
“Treats provide a great opportunity to strengthen the bond with your pet, dogs and cats alike,” said Bryan Nieman, brand director for Fromm Family Foods representing the fifth-generation of his family business. “Moving into cat treats was a natural progression as we expand our overall treat business and a new and exciting way to utilize available production capacity at our family-owned treat manufacturing facility in Wisconsin. We are hopeful PurrSnackitty Treats will help open up a new category for our business and answer a demand we’ve had for a long time from both retailers and pet parents.”
The PurrSnackitty branding and marketing campaign will feature a play on jazz with vintage-inspired cartoon graphics and vibrant, colorful packaging which feature swinging jazz cats singing to the purrfect tune.
