Jessica Abernathy Joins the American Association of Pet Parents

(PRESS RELEASE) RIVERSIDE, IL — The American Association of Pet Parents (AAPP) is proud to welcome Jessica Abernathy as director of member relations. Jessica joins Tricia Montgomery, Michael Roberts and CEO & founder, Tom VanWinkle to the AAPP Team.

“We are very excited to have someone with Jessica’s experience joining our team. She will add great value to our life saving programs.” said Tom Van Winkle, CEO and founder of AAPP. Van Winkle added, “Her depth of understanding of pet parents, relationships and empathetic skills will complement our growing team of seasoned executives.”

Jessica brings with her nearly twenty years of experience in the pet industry. She recently served as the President of National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) for the past five years, as well as the Founder of the Chicagoland Cat Sitters. Jessica is also a recognized leader in pet professional marketing who coaches her pet industry clients in creating a successful business.

In her role prior to joining the American Association of Pet Parents, Abernathy grew a professional Pet care company over the last 20 years, helping pet parents care for their family members with love. She loves to share her knowledge and experience with anyone that is interested.
