Tannenbaum will steer the strategic direction of the organization and execution of multiyear growth and expansion plans.

Bringing 25 years of retail, eCommerce and consumer goods experience to the position, Tannenbaum has a long history of delivering year-over-year results. With his strong commitment to nurturing organizational culture, purpose and values, Tannenbaum is equipped to further enhance the community focus and knowledge at the center of Pet Supermarket’s brick-and-mortar stores. His history of improving the customer experience and a track-record of taking organizations to the next level in their growth each lend remarkable value to Pet Supermarket as the retailer expands its services and product selection to reach even more pet parents.

“It is an incredible honor to be selected as Pet Supermarket’s next CEO, and to lead and serve this great organization,” said Tannenbaum. “I appreciate the leadership and work of all who came before me to build Pet Supermarket into the successful business and brand it is today. I am thrilled to help lead the organization into its next chapter of growth and success.”

Tannenbaum is equally eager to foster and enhance relationships with external partners. As CEO, he understands that the collaborative efforts of Pet Supermarket’s partners, vendors and suppliers consistently add substantial value to the organization and create a best-in-class experience for the customer and their furry friends’ health and wellbeing.
