RAWZ Expands Limited Recipe Line with New Protein Option

Brand introduces rabbit recipe for cats with food sensitivities.

(PRESS RELEASE) YORK, ME — RAWZ, a pet food company that specializes in providing high-protein, minimally processed recipes designed to feed the true carnivore, announces its newest Limited Rabbit Recipe for Cats.

Featuring a delicious Freeze-Dried Raw Rabbit Coating on every bite, this single protein recipe is made with real rabbit and Algal Oil to provide high quality, active nutrition. The kibble does not contain any eggs, potato, corn, rendered fat, dairy, wheat, soy or canola oil, so pet parents can feel confident about what’s going into their pet’s bowl.

“We understand the significant impact pets leave on our lives, which is why it’s always been our mission to provide nutritionally exceptional recipes to pets around the globe to support their overall health and wellbeing”, said Janet Scott, owner of RAWZ Natural Pet Food. “RAWZ is excited to introduce our very first limited dry food recipe that is made grain-free with easily digestible ingredients for cats with food sensitivities.”

The owners of RAWZ represent a third-generation family-owned company with 60 years of pet nutrition experience. Made in the U.S.A., each RAWZ recipe is comprised of the perfect balance of proteins, carbohydrates, amino acids, fats, vitamins and minerals to provide optimal nutrition for all life stages and breeds. Like all RAWZ products, 100% of the profits will be donated to cat rescues, traumatic brain and spinal cord causes, and providing service dogs.

RAWZ Limited Rabbit Recipe for Cats is available in three sizes, 1.75 lb., 3 lb. and 7.8 lb., for a suggested retail price of $17.99 – $66.99. Retailers interested in carrying this new flavor are invited to contact their distributor.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
