Pet food and treat Sunshine Mills has acquired a manufacturing plant from Red Collar Pet Foods.

The facility in Joplin, MO, has 200,000 square feet of production and warehouse space, the Joplin Globe reports. About 130 Red Collar employees work at the site.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The plant gives Alabama-based Sunshine Mills additional production capacity for baked and cold-formed pet treats, according to the Globe. It is located within the Joplin Crossroads Center Business and Distribution Park.

“We are thrilled to see the knowledgeable and engaged team of associates at Joplin join the like-minded family at Sunshine Mills,” said Greg Wolking, president and CEO at Red Collar Pet Foods.
