(PRESS RELEASE) BOULDER, CO – SodaPup Founder and CEO Adam Baker announced the launch of four new treat dispensing enrichment toys.
“One of the things we’re most proud of at SodaPup is our cadence of new product introductions. Our job is to continually surprise and delight our consumers and the best way to do that is to create new designs that satisfy our consumer’s practical needs and also go a step further to create an emotional connection with the consumer,” Baker said.
“Although our business has expanded significantly over the years, it all started with rubber treat dispensing toys. We haven’t forgotten our roots. This spring we’ve focused on bringing additional energy to the treat dispensing category with the introduction of two new natural rubber toys and two new synthetic rubber toys,” Baker said.
“For natural rubber toys we’re introducing a Penguin shape and an alphabet wooden block shape called the Love Cube,” Baker said. “Why these shapes, you might ask? Consumers often think of their dogs as their babies so we spent time reflecting on our children’s favorite toys and thought the wooden block would be a great shape for a dog toy that also tapped into a positive association for pet parents. The letters on each side of the toy spell L-O-V-E,” Baker said. He added, “The reason we did the penguin is because, well, penguins are so darned cute!”
SodaPup is also introducing an exciting new dog toy material called PUP-X. It is an innovative synthetic rubber compound that balances the most important properties in a dog toy, which include durability, longevity and the ability to float, as well as being FDA compliant and safe for dogs. Baker says that the company has worked for several years on the development of this compound. “We will be introducing two new treat dispensers in our PUP-X material at Global Pet Expo,” Baker said. “The Ice Cream Cone arrives just in time for warmer weather and so does the Flower Pot enrichment toy.”
