Young, a global leader in animal health products such as Absorbine and The Missing Link, has announced the appointment of Michael Carlson as director of quality & technical services. In his new position, Carlson will be responsible for all quality control and quality assurance functions required to market the company’s full line of animal health care products. Additionally, he’ll work to support the development of innovative products that enhance the health and wellness of animals around the world.

With nearly 20 years of contract laboratory and manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries, Michael brings a wealth of valuable wisdom and practice to W. F. Young. His previous jobs included roles at Avista Pharma Solutions, MicroTest Laboratories, Inc., and Accuratus Lab Services, Inc.
