(Press Release) ANDERSON, IN – Scout & Zoe’s, an all-natural pet treat company, is launching a new line of treats called Carpé Carp at 2017 SuperZoo in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, July 25-27. The Carpé Carp treats include chewable strips called Carp Spears and crunchy carp skins called Carp Planks, both safe and healthy for canines and felines.
Scout & Zoe’s is showcasing the new Carpé Carp treats at SuperZoo Booth #4744, and educating retailers and attendees on the health benefits of the new treat. Each treat is high in nutritional value due to an abundant concentration of Omega-3 fatty acids, which are associated with prevention of kidney protection, overall well-being, and diseases caused by aging. The treats are produced in the United States, and the carp is gathered from American rivers and lakes by local fishermen. Carp are free from pollutants such as PCPs, Mercury, and other metals due to their filter-feeding mechanisms.
Cindy Dunston Quirk, founder of Scout & Zoe’s Premium Pet Products, invites visitors to stop by the booth to take selfies and see the new treats. The Carpé Carp treats will also be in Superzoo’s New Product Showcase.
“After my own pets, Scout and Zoe, struggled with allergies, I was determined to find a way they could enjoy healthy, nutritional treats without their allergies flaring up,” stated Dunston Quirk. “I wanted to improve the lives and health of pets, but also give back to the community.”
A friend of the environment, Dunston Quirk selected carp in part due to the impact it has on rivers and lakes; carp are known to be prolific and to clog the waterways. The company helps American waterways by using the services of local fishermen to gather the invasive carp, which are then turned into treats by a family owned contract manufacturer and then packaged by adults who are intellectually disabled and are learning job skills to help them live life on their own terms.
