Carnivore Meat Plans $55M Plant in Wisconsin

Raw pet food manufacturer Carnivore Meat Co. announced plans to construct a $55 million plant in Green Bay, WI.

The campus will have 235,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space, the Press-Gazette reports.

Production at the facility is expected to begin by late 2023. The company makes freeze-dried and frozen raw pet food, snacks and treats.

Carnivore Meat’s brands include Nature’s Advantage, Vital Essentials and Vital Cat. The firm is also a partner to co-manufacturing and private label customers.

The company was founded 10 years ago in Green Bay and currently has four production locations and more than 200 employees, according to the Press-Gazette.

Private equity firm Arbor Investments announced an investment in Carnivore Meat in December.
