(PRESS RELEASE) DAVENPORT, FL – The Company of Animals has named Anthony Hinton as e-commerce sales manager for its North American division.

Hinton previously held full-time copywriting and e-commerce positions at That Pet Place and Outward Hound. While at Outward Hound, Hinton was instrumental in creating new ways to reach and sell to customers online. Working collaboratively with online retailers as well as brick-and-mortar stores with online platforms, Hinton was able to dramatically increase online sales. A large part of this involved creating meaningful content and driving footfall to all authorized resellers.

“We are thrilled to bring Anthony onboard,” said Cody Rossi, vice president of sales for The Company of Animals’ North American division. “He brings a wealth of experience and e-commerce expertise to the team and we are confident he will be an asset in helping to grow our online presence.”

Hinton’s initial focus will be boosting The Company of Animal’s online presence, as well as refining its IMAP policy, which continues to level the playing field for retail partners. His efforts will also include creatively branching out into other e-commerce markets for continued growth.

Anthony Hinton will serve as e-commerce sales manager for The Company of Animals’ North American division.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
