A new ranking from Forbes Advisor examines the best U.S. cities for pet owners.

The publication looked at the 91 most populated cities with available data. The ranking considered 13 metrics related to these factors:

Dog veterinary cost
Cat veterinary cost
Veterinary access
Pet-friendly spaces

The top city: Tucson, AZ.

Not far behind were Raleigh, NC, at No. 2 and Nashville, TN, at No 3.
